Beta of our new DV Splitter DirectShow filter is now available for download. In addition to DV25, the splitter supports DV50 and DV100 formats.

A new feature of the QuickTime DirectShow Source filter is support for multichannel 32-bit audio output. Other changes include minor fixes and a fixed bug with first sample time after seeking. See also: previous updates.

Rhapzode, a PowerPoint enhancement product from Alta Vente, UK will now support QuickTime as one of the media formats that can be embedded into a PowerPoint presentation. The DirectShow component was developed by MediaLooks as part of a custom project and was based on the MediaLooks QuickTime DirectShow Source filter.

MediaLooks has delivered the DirectShow SDK to SmartSys Consulting, Canada.

MediaLooks releases Video Mixer - a DirectShow filter for real-time mixing of several video streams from various sources. The Video Mixer will be added to the family of high performance DirectShow filters by MediaLooks.
